Back for her second year on the Nordic Staff, junior Elsa Wang is eager to continue exploring and growing as a journalist, this time as design editor! She hopes to increase student engagement and encourage bold, new and vibrant designs. If encountered in the wild, you might find her frantically scribbling in her sketchbook before a new idea has the chance to escape her, stargazing in the middle of nowhere at slightly absurd hours and reading thought-provoking books with her two adorable cats by her side.
Bonny Lee is an amazing sophomore at Inglemoor. This is her first year as a reporter on Nordic. She is very excited to refine and explore journalism and photography, and get to know people on staff. Bonny is very fond of talking and interviewing people and hopes to write fun and captivating articles. She is currently striving for the full IB diploma (but feel free to convince her not to). Outside of school, Bonny enjoys art — drawing, painting, and ceramics — as well as listening to music and exploring fashion while expanding her wardrobe. She also likes to hang out with her awesome friends! Currently, she is trying to improve her sewing, cooking and Vietnamese while balancing schoolwork.
Sophomore Sara Kim is starting her first year as a reporter on the Nordic News staff. She cannot wait to explore being a journalist and make meaningful contributions to the school newspaper. This year, she hopes to improve her writing skills and familiarize herself with journalism. She also hopes to learn proper email etiquette and how to write in a professional voice. In her free time, Sara enjoys creative writing, watercolor and oil painting and messing up family recipes. She is also trying to learn how to drive and is currently studying hard for her driving test.
