A lone flamingo poses gracefully away from the rest of its flamboyance (the official name for a group of flamingos). Fun fact: Woodland Park Zoo has approximately 48 Chilean flamingos currently residing in the exhibit! The zoo has been successfully hatching chicks since 2016.

Sara Kim (she/her), Reporter
Sophomore Sara Kim is starting her first year as a reporter on the Nordic News staff. She cannot wait to explore being a journalist and make meaningful contributions to the school newspaper. This year, she hopes to improve her writing skills and familiarize herself with journalism. She also hopes to learn proper email etiquette and how to write in a professional voice. In her free time, Sara enjoys creative writing, watercolor and oil painting and messing up family recipes. She is also trying to learn how to drive and is currently studying hard for her driving test.
Will Bryant (he/him), Reporter
Going into his sophomore year, Will Bryant is excited to start as a reporter at Nordic News. He is hoping to work on his writing and journalism skills as he writes engaging and informative articles. Outside of school, you can find Will spending his free time playing his acoustic guitar, producing music, recording podcasts with his friends and free writing. Will also enjoys editing videos, composing his own songs and playing with his awesome sauce golden retriever, Bingley. He hopes you find Nordic News interesting, engaging and thought-provoking.
