Charlie Haug (he/him), Sports Editor

He’s back. For his senior year, Charlie Haug is thrilled to fill the role of Sports Editor and co-host of the Nordic Podcast. He plans on sustaining the excellence of the sports section by incorporating expedited reporting and multimedia to connect the community with our sports teams. Charlie is a busy guy, spending most of his time rowing for Inglemoor, playing basketball, spending time with friends, or fulfilling his IB Diploma requirements.

The team honored their late coach on Oct. 17 with a Nelke Night game against Skyline. Players, fans and coaches sported purple ribbons and headbands for pancreatic cancer awareness. Although the team lost, head coach Roland Peekel said the journey has been about more than just wins and losses. He recognized the importance of honoring the foundation that Nelke built for the team.
