Junior Beatrice Duchastel de Montrouge was one of the speakers at the walkout. "We demand that Congress pass proper gun control legislation because we know that proper laws will save a whole bunch more lives than any thoughts and prayers," she said. Duchastel de Montrouge then led the crowd in a chant of "protect kids, not guns."
