Ellie Tachtevrenidou (she/her), Reporter
Sophomore Ellie Tachtevrenidou is very excited for her first year as a reporter for Nordic. She is thrilled to learn what it takes to be a reporter, write engaging pieces and conduct interviews with a variety of interesting people. She is also a part of the tennis team, Thespian troupe and Model United Nations. Outside of school, you can find her reading, baking, playing tennis, eating at her local McDonald’s and most definitely talking. In the future she hopes to have a pet bunny and a tiny pet pig.
Zack Pizzuto (he/him), Reporter
Junior Zack Pizzuto is delighted to join the Nordic staff this year! He is hoping to meet new people who are also passionate about creating the newspaper together. He loves being creative; most of the time, you can find him drawing in and outside of school. Watching scary movies with friends is one of his favorite ways to spend his free time! He’s also fond of running in track and cross country, making puppets, reading and writing poems and short stories and occasionally playing guitar. He dabbles in all forms of art and strives to leave a mark on the world with it in some way.
