After losing their final regular season game against Issaquah High School, the fastpitch softball team’s hopes of going to KingCo this season seemed to have been lost. However, their tie-breaking game against Woodinville on Monday, May 6, was a second chance to qualify. Despite a tense first half that ended with the Vikings down 0-2, they were able to gain the lead in a heated second half. Playing hard in the rain, Inglemoor came out of the last inning up 8-5, a well-fought win that qualified them for KingCo. The team went on to play a KingCo match against Redmond High School, which ended in a loss for the Vikings.
