As Arts & Entertainment editor of Nordic News, senior Ijabo Dahir has a love for pop and nerd culture that she wants to use to make the section more engaging for readers.  She loves review writing and being a critic was something she wanted to do as a child.  Currently her interests lie in investigative journalism and she hopes to do more investigative pieces for Nordic.  As a Somali-American, Dahir has a unique global perspective that gives her interesting ideas for stories.  In her free time, Dahir likes to cook and create new recipes, scroll through the endless depths of tumblr, and listen to podcasts with a wide variety of topics, such as politics, mythology and anime.
