Charles “Charlie” Surdyk is the Cheeky editor on Nordic News, writing for this section almost every month with few exceptions. He is currently in his second year on staff and will be graduating in June. Surdyk spends his days doing various underwater sports. You can find him on campus standing on various platforms and enjoying company of friends and food when not in class. Writing Cheeky has led Surdyk to pursue a number of similar hobbies, such as standup and filmmaking. His current project is securing either a copyright or a trademark for Cheeky, a venture that he plans to continue long after graduation.
