Pillars
In Memory of The Pillars. Painted by many, loved by all.
Rest in peace. Many of the pillars have passed away after the construction crew began their work. Nevertheless, the pillars died with honor, standing valiantly against the construction crew until their demise. The hands of numerous students crafted the pillars with love; their hard work and dedication gave each pillar a unique personality. Whether it was the bright red and yellow dragons on the Chinese club pillar or the various dinosaurs on the AVID pillar, they all portrayed a special piece of Inglemoor.
Each and every one of them made the school shine with vivid colors. The students sacrificed their blood, sweat and tears to such creative masterpieces, and they were admired by anyone who walked through the halls. The school was a more vivid place with them, and a sense of emptiness now pervades it. We all had wonderful memories strolling down the lively halls admiring various artworks. May those gems rest in peace.

Locker Bathroom
In Memory of The Locker Room Bathrooms — the great kingdom of flies.
To students’ relief, the locker room bathroom has finally been destroyed. From its creation to its wonderful demise, it had been an enormous eyesore to whoever glanced in its general direction. The bathroom strove to become the worst bathroom in the school, and it certainly achieved its goal. Just the sight of the bathroom brought upon a foreboding feeling, and the toilet paper was seldom stocked. However, the bathroom was not all bad. It loved flies — so much so that it invited and welcomed all the flies in Inglemoor. After its destruction, the campus seemed much happier, as if a curse had been lifted. The flies cleared, and even with the rubble in its place, the school has never looked better. No student will remember the tale of the locker bathrooms anymore. Rest in pee — there will be no one mourning for thee.
Painted Parking Spots
Here lies the Senior Rite of Passage — painting a parking spot
To the Viks’ dismay, the painting of parking spots at Inglemoor has passed away since the beginning of the construction process. Where seniors’ spots were once havens of color and memories, they are now only chipped paint, dusty tire tracks and endless asphalt. Rather than being serenaded with positive messages, buff minions, childhood cartoon favorites and silly messages like “if you see this, I hit snooze,” students now see only construction vehicles, cones and an endless line of parents blocking the exit. These painted spots will be sorely missed, and students can only hope that the drab atmosphere is offset by the orange of the construction vehicle cones. There will be no funeral — only the gradual disappearance of last year’s legacies.

Courtyard
RIP/ Courtyard / Loved by many/ Remembered by all
After coming back to school in the fall, the Viks were devastated to find that the courtyard was no more. The beautiful plaza of trash-ridden garden beds, overgrown bushes and chipped green lunch tables is now buried under piles of trash in a landfill, with only plywood walls to mark its grave and windows to stare through… Throughout its life, the courtyard served as a place for students to eat lunch, hang out before and after school and spend time outside. Its loss has left Inglemoor’s crows without a place to perch, and students are having to re-learn where all the campus trash cans are. With every crowded lunch and traffic-ridden passing period, the courtyard is missed more and more. Its funeral will take place throughout the next two years. You can see its remains through the small viewing ports in the construction walls. Although it will remain forever in the hearts of the Inglemoor students who were fortunate enough to have experienced it, the new building being erected in its place will stand as a testament to the thousands of Vikings whose footsteps crossed the courtyard.
